About

At Tinnitus Connects, our mission is to make the invisible audible. We unite individuals living with tinnitus to foster a supportive community where experiences, tips, and advice are shared. Through our efforts, we aim to raise awareness about tinnitus—its causes and its significant impact on daily life. We advocate for greater recognition from policymakers, striving to empower individuals with the tools and resources needed to manage tinnitus in various settings, whether at work, while traveling, or in everyday situations. Together, we’re creating a platform for connection, understanding, and proactive management of tinnitus.

Aligned with our mission, Reis door de ruis is a podcast that makes the invisible world of tinnitus audible. Hosted by Natalie Welleman, who has lived with tinnitus for over 13 years, the podcast features conversations with fellow tinnitus sufferers, including former cyclist Tom Boonen, journalist Goedele Devroy, and musician Milo Driessen. Together, they explore how tinnitus affects their lives, along with insights from experts on ways to cope and find balance.

Whether you experience tinnitus yourself or know someone who does, Reis door de ruis provides a platform for connection, understanding, and support. Join us as we break the silence surrounding this condition.
